The Anguilla Animal Rescue Foundation (AARF) was founded in the fall of 2000 as an all-volunteer service organization and is a member of the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA).
The AARF Shelter located at Morlens Veterinary Hospital is staffed by volunteers and assisted by two veterinarians at Morlens with the location of the shelter within the veterinary hospital insuring that the homeless animals brought to AARF are given the best available care. Low cost adoptions that include the pets first set of vaccinations, and free spay/neuter surgery have resulted in many successful adoptions and vastly decreased the births of unwanted puppies and kittens – however, there is still much work to be done.
Interested in helping? We always need volunteers – contact Sally at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coming for vacation and want to spend a little time with our homeless animals? Contact Suzie at 264-497-8177 or email@example.com for more information.
AARF could not survive without the monetary donations of the many kind and generous animal lovers that support us and we expect shelter expenses alone to top $30,000 next year. This does not include additional expenses for our all important education projects.
At the shelter, we always need donations of used towels, newspapers, paper towels, garbage bags, and flea/tick shampoo/spray, as well as heartworm medications.
If you are interested in donating any of the items above please contact the AARF Shelter at 264-476-2731, Suzie at 264-497-8177 or Morlens at 264-497-4600 or you can drop off your donation from 8 – 2 & 4 – 6 Mon – Fri or 8 -12 on Saturday at the Shelter.
