Support the Department of Health Protection’s Vector Awareness Programme

This month, the Anguilla National Trust is encouraging its members to support the Department of Health Protection’s Vector Awareness Programme which takes place every October. The theme for this month’s series of activities is “Goodbye Housefly…Veto the Vector.”

This Saturday 31 October, we’ll be joining the Department’s Environmental Health Unit on their annual walk for awareness. The walk begins at the Department of Health Protection (by The Valley round-about) at 5.00am and follows the main road and the Jeremiah Gumbs Highway to Blowing Point. We then re-trace our steps back to the Department. It should take approximately 2 hours. Bush tea and Johnny cakes will be served for breakfast.

This is an open event. We hope to see you there!
