DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT FIRST OPEN DAY
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT FIRST OPEN DAY
The Future of Development without the Environment
The Department of Environment is holding its first ever Open Day Tuesday on January 12, 2010.
This is a free activity, which will be held at the office of the Department of Environment, Brooks & Sons Complex, The Valley, next to the People’s Market. The activity commences at 7:30am and ends at 5:30pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2010.
The Open Day will give everyone the opportunity to understand the various aspects of responsibility of the department and its role in promoting environmental management across the island.
We are particularly interested in your participation as it will give us both the opportunity to liaise on upcoming programmes and environmental challenges of importance to all Anguillians.
The Open Day will be characterized by displays of the challenges and solutions to sustainable development in Anguilla as well as provide visitors with the opportunity to interact and chat with the staff of the department.
