Buried under Garbage: Anguilla National Trust Presents “Trashed”

Looking for a different type lime? How about starting your weekend with a film?

On Friday 19 February 2010, The Anguilla National Trust will be presenting “Trashed” at 6.00pm at the Teachers Resource Centre Auditorium (upstairs, Public Library).

“Trashed” is a provocative documentary that “analyzes the causes and effects of the seemingly innocuous act of ‘taking out the garbage.” It is a film that is relevant to anyone “interested in the future of sustainability” and the health of the society in which we live.

Leroy Richardson, the Senior Environmental Health Officer of the Health Protection Unit, will introduce the film by presenting on Anguilla’s waste situation and the importance of its sustainable management.

Refreshments provided. Discussion encouraged. Everyone welcome.
