AARF SAY THANK YOU TO THE ANGUILLIAN COMMUNITY/YARD SALE A SUCCESS, AND PUPPIES GALORE:
The AARF Yard Sale this past Saturday was, as their fundraising chairperson Gayle put it, a roaring success. A little over $3000 was collected that will certainly help meet expenses this year which are expected to be in the $36K range. Don’t forget that they are having ongoing yard sales this year with their next one on May 15th. A huge thank you to Roy & Mandy at Roy’s for providing the venue, & thank you as well to everyone that attended including those that volunteered to help. Please continue to save those usable items for the next sale – they can be dropped at the AARF container located at Anguilla Techni Sales. It’s that time of the year when AARF, begin the puppy and kitten season so please tell everyone you know if they are looking for a puppy or kitten to come by the AARF shelter at Morlens Veterinary Hospital at Sandy Hill. Currently they have 12 puppies (2 long haired males and 10 females) for adoption as well as an adult dog that was surrendered because the owner could no longer care for him. He is up to date on his vaccinations, heart worm negative and has been neutered; he loves everyone – kids included!
