Hike Blackgarden Bay to Little Bay with the Anguilla National Trust

The Anguilla National Trust invites its members on a hike the coastline from Blackgarden Bay to Little Bay this Saturday 24 April.

The hike, which is being led by Mr. Joash Proctor, will begin and end at Little Bay. It will involve an easy hike to Blackgarden Bay and then the tracing Anguilla’s ragged coastline northeast back to Little Bay. Along the way, we will search for the elusive and endangered Lesser Antillean Iguana among the coastal rock crevices. The hike is moderate-to-difficult. Sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers are required. Long pants are recommended. Swim wear can be worn under hiking clothes by those who may want to go for a swim at Little Bay Marine Park after the hike. Water will be provided.

We will meet at the Anguilla National Trust at 8.00am and make our way by car to Little Bay. The hike is expected to take between 1.5 and 2 hours.

The hike is free of charge to all ANT members. As the Trust can only accommodate up to 15 people on this hike, interested persons should call the office at 497 5297 to reserve their place. (Please note that the hike will be rescheduled in case of rain.)
