You Are What You Eat: The ANT Presents “Food Inc.”

Have you ever wondered about the food that you eat – where it comes from, how it’s made, and how it makes it to your table?

On Wednesday 28 April 2010, the Anguilla National Trust will be presenting “Food Inc.” at 6.30pm at the Teachers Resource Centre Auditorium (upstairs, Public Library).

Academy Award nominated “Food Inc.” is a powerful, provocative, and controversial film that takes a hard look at the food production system and business. “Food Inc.” “reveals surprising and often shocking truths about what we eat, how its produced,” and how it has shaped what we have become.

Organic farmers, Frankie Lake and Asta Niles will introduce the film by presenting on Anguilla’s local organic farming movement and the importance of supporting Anguilla’s local agricultural economy.
