A Consular Officer from the United States Embassy in Barbados will visit Anguilla from June 15 – 17, 2010. She will hold office hours as follows: 

Tuesday, June 15, 2010, 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Wednesday, June 16, 2010, 8:30 AM to 12 noon and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM 

The office hours will be held at:

An appointment is required to meet with the Consular Officer.  All appointments must be made by contacting the Embassy in Barbados at  (246) 227-4193 between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.  The Consular Officer will provide American Citizen Services and take applications for U.S. Passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, but will not be available to discuss visa issues. 

Fees are: Child’s passport (under 16) US$85, first adult passport US$100 (fee payable by bank draft only made out to “U.S. Embassy Barbados”).  All passport applicants who cannot present a previous ten-year passport issued less than fifteen years ago must have an interview.  Persons seeking to renew a ten-year passport issued less than 15 years ago, and who can present the expired passport, may apply to the Embassy directly by mail; the fee is US$75Both parents must come with a child under 16 if both parents are listed on the child’s birth certificate

 

Passports

For an ADULT passport RENEWAL, you must bring the following documents to the interview: 1) current U.S. Passport, 2) completed DS-82 form, 3) two 2”X2” U.S. Passport-sized photos, 4) the passport fee, & 5) a prepaid, addressed express mail airway bill (DHL, FedEx or LIAT QuikPak) so that the passport can be mailed back to you.  Passports CANNOT be returned by regular post mail. 

For a CHILD, you must bring: 1) child’s current passport, 2) child’s birth certificate, 3) one photocopy of the child’s birth certificate, 4) both parents’ passports, 5) photocopies of photo/signature page of both parents’ passports, 6) two 2”X2” U.S. Passport-sized photos of the child and 7) prepaid, addressed express mail airway bill (DHL, FedEx or LIAT QuikPak) so that the passport can be mailed back to you.  Passports CANNOT be returned by regular mail post. 

The fee for a Consular Report of Birth is US$65.  If you are the American parent wishing to transmit your U.S. Citizenship to your child, you are required to bring documents proving that you have lived in the U.S. For 5 years, 2 years after the age of 14. 

For Notary Services, the first notarized document is US$30 and each additional notarized document costs US$20.
