ANGUILLA CHEF DALE CARTY AND ANGUILLA’S CARIBBEAN CHEF OF THE YEAR ATTENDING PRESTIGIOUS CHEFS AND CHAMPAGNE EVENT IN MARTHA’S VINEYARD:

Caribbean Chef of the Year, Mr. Glendon Carty, and Noted Anguillian Chef Mr. Dale Carty, have left the island to attend the prestigious Chefs and Champagne event at Martha’s Vineyard in Sagaponack, New York. The Event is an annual one, and honoured guests this year will be Martha Stewart and Mr. James Beard. The event takes the format of a vip hour, attended by vip invited guests, media, and sponsors, who takes the opportunity to meet the chefs and taste their various offerings. This is followed by a very elaborate silent auction and a tasting of selected champagnes and wines which flows freely. The event which is billed as a very important party in the summer season, Chefs and Champagnes, has always been a sold out event and it is expected to be the same this year. Attendees are comprised of local Hampton residents as well as other notable invited persons. The chefs are expected to prepare tasking size portions for 400 persons. We are so very proud of our Anguillian Chefs, and Congratulate to both Glendon and Dale, for being selected to represent Anguilla, at this very important event. Way to go guys!
