Anguilla hosts level one IAAF track training program

Seventeen years ago Anguilla held its first level one training course for track and field coaches, with some 15 participants.  On Saturday 11th December 2010 the Anguilla Amateur Athletics Federation (AAAF) will be hosting its second ever level one IAAF coaching course.   Some 25 persons will take the plunge in the two part training course which will focus on Kids athletics and track and field. 

Mr. Greg Connor from St. Kitts and Mrs. Heather Richardson from Anguilla will be the lecturers for this event.  The course will begin on Saturday at 8:30 am at the at the Ronald Webster park and on Sunday the will be a Kids Athletics Competition at 2:30 pm.  Approximately ten students from each primary school will be invited to participate in the event.    The AAAF would like to express its sincere appreciation the Sports Department, LIME, Commonwealth Sports Association and Vanterpool Services for their sponsorship of the training program.
